To fulfill our mission, GeoLatinas aims to

  • Promote, welcome, and empower the work and research of Latina women in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences. 
  • Provide tools to help GeoLatinas succeed at all stages of their careers.
  • Inspire future generations of Latin Americans to pursue careers in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences.
  • Foster curiosity in Latin Americans interested in Geosciences and planetary sciences. 
  • Distribute information on education and job opportunities for Latin Americans in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences. 
  • Close the cultural and linguistic gap that exists between Latin Americans and opportunities in Geosciences and Planetary Sciences.
